Welcome
to the website of the Arkansas State Council of Epsilon Sigma Alpha.
Epsilon
Sigma Alpha International (ESA) was founded in 1929 and is a leadership
service organization with approximately 10,000 members and 1,200 chapters
in the United States and abroad. ESA offers its members leadership training,
education and fellowship to assist and enhance their local and national
philanthropic work. By challenging members to explore and develop their
abilities, ESA International promotes confidence and competence and opens
the door to greater career opportunity.
As
State President for the 2009-2010 year, I am Blessed and honored to be
given this opportunity. My theme for the year is “Love is Like a Butterfly”.
And, that is so true; you never know where it will land. ESA is a home
to many, many butterflies as ESA sisters are the most loving, caring and
giving individuals in the world and now, we are spreading our wings to
accept our ESA brothers. ESA has opened its doors to all genders.
Epsilon
Sigma Alpha is the type of organization where we have fun in raising money
for the charities near and dear to our hearts and that is one of my goals…..to
have fun while we grow our membership and raise money for St. Jude, Easter
Seals, and all our favorite local charities.
Communication,
I feel is the key, and another one of my goals….check out the following
pages! You will find the names and email addresses of our Executive Board
and our General Board. If you have a question about ESA and what we do,
send an email and any one of us will be glad to answer your questions.
So,
again….welcome to our website and enjoy the butterflies while you browse.
