Introducing ESA’s New Service Reporting System

Your Service. Your Story. ESA’s Impact.
We’re thrilled to share a new way to recognize and celebrate the incredible time and service you dedicate to others through ESA!
Starting now, you can record your service activities directly through your Membership Portal (My Account). Each submission helps us recognize your impact, celebrate your chapter, and show the world what ESA can do together. Chapters will be encouraged to appoint a Service Reporter to assist members in submitting their contributions and complete the Service Reporting form on behalf of the chapter for group contributions. A separate email will be sent to all chapter presidents explaining what this new role is and how it will benefit your chapter.

Here’s how this new system helps your service grow even further:
Recognition: Your submissions will power member spotlights, quarterly impact reports, and recognition at IC Convention, celebrating your service all year long.

Storytelling: Every report helps us tell the full story of ESA’s impact, showing potential members, partners, and communities the good that grows from ESA.

Ease & Accuracy: Your information goes directly into ESA’s database, making it simple to track and celebrate your impact with confidence.

More Detail: Below are a few high level details to help you jump right in. You can also explore our new FAQ page and micro learning lesson for a deeper look at how the system works.

Who Should Report
Chapters: Each chapter is encouraged to appoint a Chapter Service Reporter (often your Philanthropic Chair) to submit group activities or on another members behalf at least monthly. All chapter presidents will receive an email with instructions!
Individual Members: Each member is welcome to submit their own contributions, especially for independent service projects. To help avoid duplication, please notify your chapter or event chair if you choose to submit individually.
*The State Philanthropic Chair will have access to a full report of all submissions for their state. Individuals can only see the submissions they enter. If you have questions or would like to see a full report of submissions for your chapter, please reach out to the ESAMC Staff or your State Philanthropic Chair.

When to Report
We encourage members to submit their projects upon completion. Please submit activities at least monthly so we can recognize your efforts throughout the year!

New forms of recognition will include:
-
Monthly: Social media spotlights and ESA Newsletter features
-
Quarterly: Impact reports shared with the public
-
Biannually: Celebration at conferences and events
All service for the 2025–2026 ESA year (June 1–May 31) must be submitted by May 31, 2026.
If you have already sent submissions to your State Philanthropic Chair, please contact them and ask how they would like you to report projects you have already completed.
